NOTE - this is an in-vehicle service seal repair for the front leaking power steering box input shaft on Hilux models <3/89 and Landcruiser 40 60 70 75 series models <12/89 and the shim washer supplied is to be fitted in front of the seal to recess the seal deeper into threaded cone piece and thus position the sealing lip on an ungrooved shaft area
NOTE - this same seal set is captured inside the front nose housing on all late Toyota power steering boxes / rack and pinion units but will require special tooling to fit in-vehicle
